I have been thinking about the conversion between MB and MiB. MiB is binary as it has "i" in the middle. But for example:I have 1024MB of stuff. Would that be 1000 MiB or 10000000000 MiB? So what do you think windows long horn is going to be like? its true that there are beta copies out on the net but i don't want to take a chance. also when it comes out i will wait a while before geting it. Let others test it and if there are problems with it i stick with my old windows.

hey there,I download knoppix recently, asan .ISO file.That file is 699 MBbig , just small enough to fit onto a cd.But when I wanna burn it onto a cd, my burner(nero) says its 1xxx MB.I know.ISO is a sort of zip, but is there any way to still burn it onto my cd?

Yeah well my dad is sort of a Mac freak, and somehow managed to get an emulated windows 2000 to run on his mac OS 9, or g4. I find it kind of funny because they didn't make virtual mac for windows. And just how Windows made Microsoft office etc for macs. So I really don't like macs and like to laugh at windows 2000 being emulated.

I'm about to format soon and I've heard of ways to organize/speed up Windows XP with partitions. I heard you can put the pagefile on a different partiton(maybe 2 gigs?) and one partition for XP(maybe 4 gigs?) and the rest of the space for games/program files. Does anyone recommend this? I'm not sure if I want to do this. Can anyone verify if this speeds up XP or if there are any complications?
This is an awsum, joke, although i do use windows xp as my starting os, but ussualy use use linux in virtually com, here it is.Can you imagine a greater slander than to describe an OS as "comparable to Windows"?
