I've got this annoying problem with my OS X. Yeah its not perfect but its still better then most OS's. What it is doing is updating every time I reboot. Now this is not unusal for an update to occuer if you have previously updated your OS. Will you buy it or stay with other, and why?I don't need to buy Windows 7 as a friend of mine is an MSDN user and burned it for me, but to everyone who wants to upgrade, I would seriously say Windows 7. Xp Pro Wont Recognize Sata Dvd Drive
I just bought and installed a new Sony Optiarc SATA DVD drive in my pc running XP Pro. The bios recognizes the drive on IDE Channel 3 but XP does not. I did the registry hack found in another post but it did not work. I did an Add New Hardware hardware scan and it did not find it either. I have two ATA hard drives and one ATA DVD drive already installed. Any ideas??

Hi. I recently switched from Win XP pro 32 bit to 64 bit. Did a Clean install. It was working fine for a few days but then it started showing this weird error. I refer to this piece of news. Microsoft is backtracking from previous announcements and is now offering XP support until at least April 2011 for new PCs equipped with the Microsoft OS.
